Position Assessment: The months of July through now I have been busy with getting everything ready for the new school year. My junior class officer team this summer designed our junior class t-shirts. The leadership class went to core camp over the summer to train and get better knowledge on how to do my job better. Core camp I had to make a presentation about a situation that was given to me then I needed to present in front of my class and pretend it was real. After core camp we needed to get ready for freshman orientation day for the freshmen, we had a leadership training day at school discussing how to do everything, then we had our first day of school. We planned a club rush, pre-sold class t-shirts, our black light rally, making posters to promote club rush, and rally, starting helping and putting the back to school dance on. Shoutout to David and Mackenzie. And now we are starting our mock interviews and choosing our jobs. Then get ready for homecoming!
Standing Committee: Standing committee I am in is balloon crew where we make the balloon arches and balloon pillars for events. I’ve made a balloon arch for black light rally, back to school dance, and freshmen orientation.
Special Committee: I was in the balloon arch crew for the back to school dance as well as decorations, and making posters to promote the events of the month.
Mentorship: I’m going to be honest. I need to spend more time with my mentor Jacob and put more effort outside of class. We talk everyday in class and say hi but I need to go out of my way and have more bonding with him.
Concerns: My concern for this year would be to make sure everyone in the program can have trust in each other. Without trust we aren’t able to do the best we can and we aren’t able to work better together.
Positive comment: My positive comment would go to Payton. She has stepped up her public relations job to a new level and I’m proud of her and how much she's grown.
Change: My one change would be to maybe have a class meeting with Mackenzie once every few months or so just so she can keep everyone accountable for their jobs since she is the one in charge and sometimes the classes can bump heads so having an outsider's perspective is better.
My Impact: This year I’ve been trying to be more put together, positive, and getting all my work done on time. I’ve been stepping up and if jobs don’t get done I try to go out of my way to finish it and just help out the best I can. I also feel as if I’m changing for the better and putting school work more of a priority for me.

Position Assessment: Dude be nice week went extremely well and efficiently for me as well as the Juniors. I started off with making a chart of each day and date we were going to do then once all of us as a class chose the dress up days I put it in the chart and sent it to Morty so she can send them to all the clubs and so we can be organized. Once we finalized the days and events on what we are doing we made social media posts for each dress up day and each activity we were doing. Then we started making all our po’s for what the clubs wanted to participate in. Then we started planning the basket with the help of some people who gave us lists of what Mrs.V loves. Once we turned in all the po’s we started putting everything together. We made the basket, candy bags, got chalk for the clubs who wanted to do that, we participated and got hot chocolate from FFA, we watched people take pictures at the yearbook photo booth. I made the balloon pillars with the balloon crew for the photo booth that day. Then the balloon crew, April and Lucia, helped make over 100 red balloons and gave each teacher 3 to give to someone who was kind. It was a success and once we were done with that we blew up more balloons for the clubs who wanted to pass out balloons to Mrs.V. Then my mom brought the flowers from the main street so the girls league could give those to her. Leadership made thank you cards and appreciated Mrs.V for everything she has done for our campus. Then once we prepared everything and we had the rally which was a great success, great job Gideon and Spencer for the gratitude video, thank you Jaydin and Heaven for the great Rally, and thank you everyone for participating and helping the Juniors have a successful event.
Standing committee: I’ve been doing lots of preparing for Warm and Fuzzy and Winterfest and have all the po’s turned in and mostly everything ordered which is a great feeling. I was put into my CASL application group and we did community service and just talked about how we make this school a better place. We have a lot of shirts left and are still trying to find a way to sell them all but we have sold a lot from what we used to have. I have my door group and Ava is our leader for that and I have my bow ready to make it for the door. Our Christmas tree decorations are all ordered and we have a great theme this year and we are excited.
Special Committee: I’m in the balloon crew and we have been extremely busy with every event we’ve been putting on. We had to make many balloons for the dude to be nice, homecoming, all the rally’s and balloon pillars as well. I’m going to do community service for a little bit but have to leave early because I’m going on vacation. I’m excited for my intent to come out and get another bracelet with all of Morty and the senior officers' hard work. The senior yearbook rally is going to be so fun and I put some suggestions on their google form to help them out.
Concerns: One concern would be the lack of love for this program. I feel as if many people maybe lost their passion or interest for this program so they feel like they don’t have to try or care anymore?
Positive comment: I would give this to the Junior officers. I know I’m a part of it but I think we stepped up through everything we’ve been through which was a lot and we managed to put an amazing event on as well as be ahead of the game for winterfest and warm and fuzzy. We have been getting along and being productive and I’m proud of us.
Change: A change that I would like to see happen would be more fun activities to get our class together. Sometimes we need a break and we need more bonding experiences as a whole.
Your Impact: My impact would be staying productive and working on being consistent in my leadership skills. I want to work hard and prove I love what I’m doing and I need to stay committed and dedicated to my job and my responsibilities. I want to be here to make a change and work hard to not only improve myself as a person but to impact others as well. Being a leader is something I'm passionate about and something I love to do. I’m here to be the change, inspire others, and improve myself daily.

12 December 2022
Position Assessment: This month of december has been busy for me. To start off we had a warm and fuzzy week and we had to decorate teachers' doors which this year went extremely fast and more efficiently than last year. I supported the freshmen and got hot chocolate, went to the night rally, set up our tree, dressed up all week, and it was a good week. I also attended formal and helped clean up which was a great night for the sophomores. Then we had the yearbook rally and I helped make a balloon arch in the morning for that. Then I've just been focusing on winterfest and figuring out our sash name, ordering all our supplies, and starting to make everything for when we get back. Then we started focusing on cleaning our class box and making it organized for the new year. We also said our goodbye to Mr. Ramirez. We filled his office up with balloons which made us happy. We finalized our reports for CASL and turned them into Morty. Then we chose our secret santa which is super fun. We have study buddy night for finals. Now we are working on all our assignments and getting ready for our speeches and public speaking when we get done with break.
Standing Committee: Standing committee I am in is balloon crew where we make the balloon arches and balloon pillars for events. I made a balloon arch for the yearbook rally this december.
Special Committee: I didn’t have a special committee with the week of December other than just supporting everyone and all the events we have going on.
Mentorship: Me and Nathan have been talking a lot more and have been checking up on each other and helping one another out more and it makes me happy.
Concern: One concern for this year would be the judgment. Sometimes it’s hard walking into a class and feel judged or not having the same connections everyone else has. Maybe it’s a personal issue but I hope it gets better.
Positive comment: My positive comment would go to the Freshmen. I’m proud of them for finally stepping it up more than they used to and they did an amazing job with their holiday tree. It’s nice to see improvement in the program, especially from them.
Change: My one change would be for all of us to be happy and successful in the jobs we have. Yes it’s going to be stressful but I hope we all can learn that this is supposed to be a fun and happy environment.
My Impact: The Juniors and I have been working extremely well together and I’ve made sure we are all getting our jobs done and working well together. I have been on top of my work and ahead of the game for the upcoming events for when we get back and I can’t wait to see what the new year brings me.

31 January 2023
Position Assessment: This month of January has been filled with winterfest events. Over winter break we got mostly everything done like the window, cart, and bleacher poster. We also made a lip sync dance schedule ahead of time and started learning the dance for the lip sync. We had dress up days all week and each day we had to come and assemble everything to get judged. We had to sell out t-shirts at the winterfest basketball game to try and get rid of the inventory we have. The junior class ended with second place which is impressive and I’m proud of my class. We also have been giving and listening to speeches everyone has to give which everyone is doing a great job. I had to give my speech about starbucks and what your drink says about you which was fun. Now my main focus is on elections. I worked on turning in my questions, making my speech, and getting ready for the upcoming weeks of elections and interviews.
Standing Committee: Standing committee I am in is balloon crew where we make the balloon arches and balloon pillars for events. We haven’t made one in a while but the next few months we are going to be busy making all of those for the upcoming events.
Special Committee: I didn’t have a special committee with the week of January other than just supporting everyone and all the events we have going on. In the near future though I am working on college reveals and trying to order things for that now so I am prepared and ready for it when it’s time.
Mentorship: Me and Elias are mentors and it has been really fun getting to grow closer together. We are planning a lunch date this week so we can have more time outside of leadership class to talk and get to know each other better.
Concern: One concern would be to make sure everyone stays friendly during elections. As we all know elections are tough and going against one another isn’t always the greatest thing. I just hope we all can be happy and excited for each other not bringing each other down. At the end of the day the decision isn’t up to us and if we are leaders we will be happy and support whatever that decision is.
Positive comment: My positive comment would go to April for working so hard during winterfest and executing everything amazingly. She never stopped working and I’m proud of her for pushing through another event. She not only had to run the whole event but she did the lip sync dance, did the posters, windows, and stayed on top of everything, made sure everything was done on time, and helped lead her class to victory for wintetfest.
Change: My one change would be for all of us to be happy and successful in the jobs we have. Yes it’s going to be stressful but I hope we all can learn that this is supposed to be a fun and happy environment.
My Impact: The Juniors and I have been working extremely well together and we did a great job during winterfest. We had everything planned out, we executed everything just like we wanted to, we were organized and all were helping each other out. I have been making sure we all stay friendly and get our jobs done because we are a team and we need to act like one.

3 March 2023
- I have been placed in the College Reveal committee. College reveal is an event in may for all Seniors to participate and showcase where they are going and what their next chapter is going to bring for them. It’s a fun time to get their friends and family to see where they are going to college. We basically have an event with decorations, photos, cookies, balloons, all the things to make an event extra special to have a farewell to our seniors. My role is to get the event ready to make sure it is perfect for every participant. I have to contact everyone who is a part of this event and make sure I get everything ordered so when the time comes we are ready to go. I have to make sure the day of everything is in order so we can have a successful event. I want to make sure this is the best one yet and I have already contacted every person I need to contact and ask if they will be there, and what they need from me to help assist them. I have ordered mainly everything for what we need to decorate. Lastly I have been making my checklist of everything that needs to be done so I can stay on top of it.
- I have contributed to this week by getting all the jobs done that have been assigned to everyone. We have to write six letters to the incoming freshmen which I am done with. We have to write letters to teachers with this certain paper makenzie is giving the whole class. I also have to assist and help Spencer and Emme with the Gifts to the teacher. I’ve been talking and discussing with them to see what we need and what their plan is so we can explain to the class. I have made a checklist of our ideas and progress so I can have an outline of what I am going to say when I present in front of the class.
- I am in charge of communicating and assisting with the teacher's gift and I have to present to the class what it is, how it’s going, what we are going to do, and how it’s been executed. I am excited to explain our ideas and plans and share with the class.
- Some pros I have seen during this week of the challenge would be productivity. Everyone seems to be working when they need to be and they get their job done in a timely manner. Many students have finished or are on track to finish what their task was on time and it turned out great. We all communicate and help each other out with what we need to work on. Everyone is overall involved and no one seems to be out of the loop or left out of what needs to get done during this busy week.
- Some cons would be reminding people to do what they need to do and having only one person take all of the work when it is a two person job for some of these tasks. But overall we can improve on delegating and making sure everyone has a job that they can be working on.
- In the formal presentation I will be speaking on the Teachers gift with Brianna. We are assisting Spencer and Emme as we work on this. We are all making a plan and trying to execute it organized and on time. I will be sharing what it is, how we are doing it, what we have done, and what we need to finish in order to have this complete.
- My overall opinion of this event would be a great start to the end of the year. I love the
- theme and love how we are publicizing and changing it out from previous years. It’s very unique and I’m excited to see everything when it’s all done and put together. This challenge feels good and a great improvement from the previous years.
- This class will be successful in planning as well as executing this event because we are all on top of holding each other accountable this year. We all have a task with a partner so we all know that we can get the job done together. We have a set plan and we are all working on getting it done organized this year.
- If peers in the class do not fulfill their job they should be pulled aside and asked what they have brought to the table and do they think they made an impact and got what they needed to get done. Then we need to have a talk with them about accountability and reminding them why they made it into this program.
- My favorite aspect to this event would be everyone coming together and seeing people step up out of their job description and be in charge of something big and important. I love seeing people get out of their comfort zone and being in charge of a task. I am most excited for the dance and to see all the fun decorations and ideas that we have for it. I have a good feeling about this one.
